Returned from Sun-n-Fun today. Met with Pete Klapp there for lunch one day and a dinner in town on another day. Shirley and I went to the Thorp T-18 dinner; they had a great Low Country Shrimp Boil. Also managed to talk with three other KR builders. Met Dick Koehler of EAA Hints for Homebuilders fame. Dick had also built a KR-2. Made a nuisance of myself at the Dynon booth. Dynon had some great looking stuff, but the sales rep politely declined my request to move the displays to the sunlight coming in the door to see if it really does that. Wearing KR Gathering shirts is a great conversation starter, even when that person is not a KR builder. Did not see any KR aircraft on the flight line. Maybe next year I will have my KR-2 there.
