I just got back from flying copilot from Sparta Michigan down to Naples Florida with a stop in Athens Georgia and back to Sparta today, Friday. On the way back I fired up the AVARE flight application and it worked beautifully! I forget who originally told me about it but thank you! It measures ground speed , the altitude , the ground track and heading bearings, estimated time in route we're all spot on!
