You need to search for stainless steel foils rather than sheet. ?I found a number of suppliers for Stainless foils. ?You'll find that Brown Metals specifically lists .007" 302 and 304 Stainless Foils (either grade should work) at widths up to 36". ?The other places below also sell SS foils of the same or similar sizing. ?
The question is whether they are willing to sell such a small amount of stainless foil to individuals. ?If they only sell by the roll, you may have to convince Jim Irwin at AS&S, Scott Wick at Wicks, or possibly Steve Glover at NV Aero that the KR build manual calls out .007" SS for the firewall and that it is no longer readily available. ?Wichever supplier chooses to buy a minimum size roll would be the exclusive seller and recognized as such by the KRNet builder support group.
