I guess "almost nothing" is a relative term.  I just spent $380 for 
an overhaul kit and may need to spend another $100 for a new 
float.  A "rebuilt" unit goes for $600+ and that's if you have a 
core.  $680 to have mine rebuilt if I send it off.  I've seen sellers 
asking from $700 to $850 for "rebuilt" units.  The market wants $1000 
for a new one and I've not seen any other less expensive options for 
any of these prices.  Still a good option as compared to other 
untested / less reliable options.  Seems like most KR accidents early 
in the test phase are engine / fuel related and many don't end well 
for the pilot.  If my engine even sounds rough at altitude I nearly 
suck in my seat cushion.  If it ran rough or quit at 100 feet on 
takeoff I'd probably suck in the entire seat assembly. :-(
