My spring is a section of a 1930's era automobile spring I found in the attic of a local blacksmith shop. I cut it to length, cold bent it to shape, and dressed the ends to fit the tailwheel. Some make their spring using glass / epoxy, others purchase their spring, and there are many other sources. Consider the spring from a golf cart, small auto,, etc. Larry Flesner
