John, I did just as Dan outlined: Asked Ed Sterba for the right cruise prop. So far I have only made three flights on my KR-2, had CG and oil temperature problems. Now in process of fixing those problems. My top speed has been 106 kts with limited engine speed on purpose due to oil temps. Static run up on the ground is 3010 RPM. I definitely have a cruise prop, but have not had the opportunity to check max cruise speed. Perhaps this spring I will have more data.
