The Diehl Wing Skins use a plyfoam false spar extension to extend the wing 18" on either side. ?If you put the same or better structural integrety or equivilent structure into your wing skins as what is in the Dielh Skins, you should be good to go. ?But please note that just glassing over foam is not the same structure as the Diehl wing skins, so you will likely need to do some design work.
