About three years ago I re-did the heads and valves on my GP 2180 at just
under 500 hours (due to broken crappy re-used Chinese valve springs
installed by RIMCO) and found no problems with lead build-up.  It was
very slight.  I use mostly avgas and I run really, really lean.  Problems
with fouling or cylinder deposits are from running too rich.
