The government is us. We are voting in morons with no ideas, and no sense of responsibility for the problems they create. I laugh at the EAA, angry because there is no money for controllers at Oshkosk this year. They have been singing a "small government" song since 1988 and the Patco debacle. What do they expect...a free lunch? Jon, please consider voting out the "budget hawks" only. Some in congress take their jobs seriously. Peter
Here I am sitting at home on furlough...which I take as a breech of contract. I enjoy having an extra day of leave to work on my flaps, but I can't help feeling violated. I am not allowed to campaign, but I think every member of congress should be voted out at the next election for allowing this to happen...regardless of how they voted. They simply didn't do their job...but they still get paid.
