This year's KR Forum at Airventure will be a little earlier and in a different pavilion than usual. The date is Monday, July 29th, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM, which is earlier in the morning that it has been in the past. I asked for the earlier slot in order to dodge the airshow noise, and it has the added benefit that if weather is closing in, I can hop in the plane and depart before the airshow starts and fly back home on Monday rather than possibly being stuck for days. I usually fly up on Sunday, camp Sunday and Monday night, and then depart when the runway opens at 6 AM on Tuesday.
Today I'm laying up carbon fiber "hinges" to convert N891JF from side-hinged to front-hinged canopy setup. They should be laid up and curing later this afternoon.
