Page 20 of my January 1990 building manual states in Drawing No. 13 "(1/2" x
1/2" (touches the plywood web on forward side )". Likewise, the lower cutaway
isometric illustration shows the same thing. The lines representing the bottom
edges of the block touch the line representing the front top edge of the lower
spar but stop short of touching the line representing the rear edge. Also sheet
W1 of the KR-2S Spar Details states "Alternate 1/2" Sq. Against Front Face ".
Note that the Outer Wing Aft Spars have the 1/2" Sq. blocks touching the rear
face of the web.

I think Virgil is wrong when he says "on center", which to me implies that the
blocks do not touch either web.

Subject: KR> wing spars

On my dated plans, the Center Section Aft Spar has ? x ? vertical blocks
alternating with ? x 1-1/8. Do the ? x ? blocks go on forward side or aft
side of spar?
