Let the resin wars begin.  VE, in my opinion, has a very specific purpose.  
That purpose is not for building a KR, unless you like to be punished, or if 
you are laying up on a part that was made using VE, or you are building a fuel 
tank.  It is next to impossible to sand because it never really cures.  Any of 
these other resins work well and are easy to work with.  I really liked Hexel 
when it was being made, but I think it is not made any more.  My choice is 
AeroPoxy while recognizing that others are as good or better, it is what I am 
used to and know how it behaves.  VE, as I said, is what I would use only if I 
have to for the reasons mentioned above.  My recommendation to any beginner is 
to stay as far away from VE as you can.  (VE Vinyl Ester Resin.)
