Jon,
Hard to see in the photo. Yes there were a couple tricks to get the Diehl method to work better. I did it per Diehls instructions but also used a nylon sleeve where the cable penetrated the fuselage. I had to also modify the stick attached point to ensure the cable didn't bind up on full travel left or right. Basically the attachment at the base of the stick and fully pivot. Photo's for my system are located on my web site at; www.robert7721.com Controls page. http://www.robert7721.com/Controls.html Thanks, Rob Schmitt N18522Z -----Original Message----- From: jon kimmel <jkimmel50 at gmail.com> To: KRnet <krnet at list.krnet.org> Sent: Tue, Apr 9, 2013 10:49 pm Subject: KR> aileron cable rigging OK...I'm going to try do Mark's trick and attach a photo. Nobody responded to my previous question so I decided to rough in my proposed routing and see if anyone sees any concerns or comments. You can see the front spar pulley held on by the wood screw in the background between the landing gear mount and the fuselage. I think this would be a much better system than attaching a long bracket to move the cable around the landing gear strut like the diehl instructions say to do because it doesn't require the cable to be at an angle coming off the joystick. Please let me know if anyone sees a problem with this or if anyone has tried this before.
