I bent the nose strut on a hard landing on my first flight. Got a new strut from nV Aero. While drilling the new strut to fit the existing swivel assembly, I noticed that the swivel bolt was bent. So, got to get a new swivel assembly. Turns out nV Aero has a kit with a swivel assembly and strut just for this sort of repair. I should have ordered the kit and saved some down time. Live and learn.
