Hey Guys, While this is a very entertaining and fun toy app and the instruments are a nifty back up I have to also point out (as a very recipient of a very real emergency) that the emergency mode for finding and gliding to an airport is a very big sense of false security. There is just not time to be looking at or pushing buttons and not looking out and flying the airplane. Honestly you already better be making the turns or climbing or trouble shooting your problem. Time is your only friend and wasting it on pushing buttons and looking at the screen is time you can not get back. I am a pretty dang awear and heads up person and react instantly to things- I am awear of where I am and where to go all the time. I have the same feature on the anywhere map and I did push the button to nearest emergency field but not until I had time after clearing smoke from the cabin and establishing climb and heading, declaring emergency.
