I think that the Ridge Runner I had used them for aileron control. They worked quite well with the fold up wings. I also used them once to replace the throttle, mixture and prop controls on an old twin where the original cables became unusable and I could not find a replacement. I have been told that the Areostar twin also used them for engine control. John Milland
