Hi, I am student applying for the port project of Kopete to KF5 this GSoC 2017. I have been working on this project for 2 months now. I am familiar with the codebase of Kopete. This port is really required for Kopete to keep it into the core KDE as they are planning to drop the application which is not ported to KF5 by the end of this year.
I have a clear outline of making this port of Kopete to the KF5 framework. I am looking for mentors to help me get through this project successfully. It will be great if someone can mentor me :) I will share the project proposal after discussing the possible changes in the timeline and approach. Looking forward to your replies.
