Hello, in Applications/16.08 git branch for next 16.08.1 version is prepared fix for sending jabber messages with Unicode characters above U+FFFF (those which are not in Basic Multilingual Plane; like new emoji 😀).
Exactly same problem is fixed also for storing status messages in configure dialog. And also in history plugin (storing messages with such Unicode chars) and webpresenceplugin plugin. Now you should be able to use all Unicode characters in jabber messages and they also should be properly stored in history plugin on disk 😀.
