Hello, following some activity in the list I'd also like to inform that I'm currently working at some stuff to help porting Kopete to KF5. A couple of weeks ago I got in touch with R. Harish Navnit, who also keeps working on this, to prevent any redundancy in this area. Currently several commits made for now (mainly on porting Oscar protocol and fixing few things) are at https://github.com/aclex/kopete, but we generally agreed that it would be far better to have all this stuff in a branch of official Kopete repository in KDE git.
I'm a little inactive this and last week, but I plan to continue working on this, so hopefully it would be possible to sort all the remaining problems out together and have Kopete finally ported.
