So I have recently noticed that SSL is not a valid option in the Kopete IRC extension. The button exists, but it resets to a standard connection as soon as I confirm the selection. There is clearly some issue hard coded into the extension, because it even resets <useSSL> to false when I edit the ircnetworks.xml directly.
