Kopete guys, Steven has a good point, if you can't maintain a full fledged website, maybe we should just tear it down?
Cheers, Albert ---------- Missatge reenviat ---------- Assumpte: [kde-webmaster] Kopete homepage Data: Dijous, 19 de març de 2015, 15:32:50 De: Steven Roose <stevenro...@gmail.com> A: webmas...@kde.org I'm an avid Ubuntu user that used GNOME and Unity for years. Now I'm looking into KDE because I'm often told KDE is more customizable and has more contributors behind it. However, some parts of the KDE website really scare me, mostly parts that have not been updated for years. How can someone get information about KDE software if the website is not maintained? Just an example, I'm looking into IM clients and wanted to compate Empathy with Kopete. The Empathy website has been updated several months ago, but the last news item on the Kopete homepage is *7 years old!* How is that even possible. The releases are also very outdated. The latest release on the website is 0.60.3 while even Wikipedia mentions a far newer one (1.2.3). Please get the website straight. Unmaintained informational pages both confuse and scare users away.
