Hi,
I think the reconnect timer is started in
kopete/libkopete/kopeteaccount.cpp in method Account::disconnected. By what I
could understand everytime an account is disconnected Kopete checks for the
reason it was disconnected and for some of them it starts the reconnect timer.
There is also kopete/libkopete/connectionmanager.cpp, which is not
compiled because it is from the KDE 3.x era and is not ported to use the
current Solid::Networking implementation, so ignore it :-)
