A while ago AOL sold ICQ to some Russian investor. In turn the login server obviously is no longer "aol.com". The login server has already been changed in the Kopete sources (I did a simple search and replace in 4.4, 4.5, and trunk (4.6)). SC 4.5.4 will be released in 9 days, so that will carry the update. In the meantime you can manually set the login server as described by Pali.
