I have Kopete 1.0.0 and it will not log into my Yahoo messenger
account. It keeps prompting me for my password and will not
make a connection. I even upgraded to KDE 4. 4.5 and it still
does not work on Yahoo. Yahoo must have changed their log
in protocol or something. I am using Kubuntu 10.04 and I have
even tried different other distros thinking it was just a problem
limited to Kubuntu. Well it will not even work in all the other
distros I have tried. I am back to Kubuntu 10.04 and I have tried
everything I can think of and Kopete 1.0.0 will not work on Yahoo.
MSN has become a pay only site and I have no friends that use
MSN and AIM sucks along with their ICQ and ect., ect., ect..
Is there a fix? Please let me know if you know of a fix because I
have googled for a fix and everything I come up with is bogus
info.
