FYI: it seems that the git-migration process has stalled. The scm-team is currently rediscussing the basics, including leaving gitorious.org again. Reading parts of the discussion, the word "over-engineering" could cross one's mind (some people already dared to speak it out loud ;) ). Anyway, we can not expect the moving to git to happen in the foreseeable future. Maybe for KDE 5 ...
