Since some users complained about that situation on the jabber.org ML, the admins are really trying to communicate a lot more. They are heavily using identi.ca/twitter to announce restarts of the service. This happened quite a lot in the last days. Also the blog on jabber.org is used to communicate, what is happening and I appreciate these efforts.

That is, why they are asking us to test the new service and I know they asked to test it with other clients, as well. bye then julian
