Summary: Webcam functionality cannot be turned on, forces user to
                    set opegl flag for Qt3
           Product: kopete
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kopete-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: D.Turovec gmail com

Version: 3.5.9 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I found that Kopete needs opengl flag for Qt3 to provide Webcam functionality.
But I actually really don't need both. Why should I have options that I do not
require?
So it would be nice if webcam, for example, to be made compiled in with default
"webcam" useflag with possibility to be switched off if user doesn't need that.

(Personal note: so now I have to recompile Qt3 with opengl, what is not a very
fast process on my machine, then kopete, then Qt3 back without opengl. Kopete
will work, and I'll get exactly the functionality I need, but such a way looks
too stupid. =/ )
