Not really - Kopete is designed for a single user, and to explicitly combine contacts where possible - not to separate them. Your children can always separate contacts into different folders manually. > or is it possible to only show the contacts for > the one account that is online? That is the concerns of the children. Yes, that is the default. You can reenable it with Settings->Showw Offline Users > Now, as the parent I would like to be able to review the chat logs for each > of their sessions. Is that possible? I noticed that there is a History > plug-in available, however it looks like it is contact centric. Is there a > global chat log that I could review? As a parent I view being aware of what > my children are doing on the internet as good parenting and not snooping. Enable the History plugin and then you can read the logs by right clicking on a contact and selecting History. If the History plugin is 'enabled' but this item is not visible, disable and reenable it - this bug was fixed quite recently.
