Hello developers,I've written a new plugin called "Pipes". It allows one to pipe a messagethrough an external executable/script in plain text format, html, or a special XML format with message metadata. I think that this plugin isimportant since UNIX has historically had pipe support in everything, whichis what has made it so flexible. It would be a shame to ruin the Unix philosophy even if we're using a shiny GUI app. It is currently in playground.[1] Fixes wish 99060[2]. If this can be included, just say the work and I will commit it in.[1] http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/network/kopete/plugins/ pipes/[2] http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99060 - Charles Connell
Except that Kopete doesn't run on just UNIX anymore. :) How platform independent is the plugin?
