I have had such behavior reported to me (extra, blank lines in my messages)
with kde 3.5.8 kopete 0.12.5 in debian sid. His finding would make sense with
the behavior I'm having reported. All my jabber connections are encrypted; so
packet sniffing isn't particularly helpful.
