Just a quicky: What do you think of the possibility of allowing interpreted/scripted plugins, so that we could solve the 'server side change requires Kopete update' problem by distributing (signed) updated protocol implementations over GHNS or similar?
I had a quick chat with Richard Moore and Harri about this, and they think it would be possible to add the necessary low level networking into KJS or QtScript.
