Hello all list members.
I would like to report what I suppose it is a bug.
Sorry if this mailing list is not the appropriate place, but I
didn't found any other.
I use the Kubuntu distro from a couple of years ago, and currently
my version is 7.04 with all software up to date.
My company runs a jabber server, but unfortunately we do not have
the same access from intranet and internet, due to our dns is not
able to handle it. So I have to set up my kopete account twice,
with same user and different server addresses.
Here comes the bug: when setting up the second account, kopete
crashes.
I think the problem appears because kopete's account identification
is the jabber id, and i'm trying to use the same for both accounts.
I report this as a bug because there's no error message and the
application crashes.
Here there is an example of what I'm trying to do:
jabber id: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
server: jabberserver.mycompany.com
jabber id: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
server: jabberserver.hi.inet
The rest of the data is the same for both accounts.
Of course there are another ways to workaround the problem and I'm
asking for the dns server changes.
I'm not registered at the mailing list, so if you what to contact
me, please email me directly.
Thanks for developing this nice application.
You should use bugs.kde.org to report this bug.
