please, this is more than crucial feature.
people changes their nick, not their email addresses.
when searching for a MSN or jabber contact, I usally remember their email, not
their names. so many people switch names so often.
even more,... the quick search could search through all the profile info. phone
number, work place, favorite sports, anything.... but at least the contact ID.
