I'm experiencing this issue as well, using SuSE 10.1, KDE 3.5.5, Kopete 0.12.3
using Jabber protocol, but apparently only to specific platforms:
Jabber messages received by certain clients (notably Adium on OS X) are
preceded by:
style='font-family: Sans Serif; '>121863
This does not appear to go to Windows / PSi Jabber clients, however.
