As mentioned before, it seems to be a bug with the driver (at least regarding
the problem with the resolution). I tested another webcam today, which uses the
spca5xx driver. Works fine with it. So I guess this bug is obsolete.

But still, I wonder about the output. The first attachment says:
"kopete: [int Kopete::AV::VideoDevice::setSize(int, int)] Card doesn't seem to
support YUV420P format. Trying RGB24.
kopete: [int Kopete::AV::VideoDevice::setSize(int, int)] Card doesn't seem to
support RGB24 format. Trying BGR24.
kopete: [int Kopete::AV::VideoDevice::setSize(int, int)] Card doesn't seem to
support RGB24 format. Trying RGB32.
kopete: [int Kopete::AV::VideoDevice::setSize(int, int)] Card doesn't seem to
support RGB32 format. Trying BGR32.
kopete: [int Kopete::AV::VideoDevice::setSize(int, int)] Card doesn't seem to
support BGR32 format. Fallback to it is not yet implemented."
This is probably the reason why I can't get my camera working with this
configuration (original driver, v4l2 disabled).

But according to the output xawtv gives, the webcam supports YUV420P format:
"v4l: capture probe 12 bit YUV 4:2:0 (planar)... ioctl:
VIDIOCMCAPTURE(frame=0;height=120;width=160;format=15): ok"

So why does Kopete claim that the device does not support this format?
