I am the author, and seriously, I wouldn't want it in SVN yet. Besides the fact
that it is not very adaptable to many users needs (say people with 20+ online
contacts), it has so many quirks that would generate a huge amount of bug
reports if it got included into main SVN. I have taken into account most of the
comments posted to kde-look and redesigned most of the plugin (i'm not done
yet, though). Once that is done, I will gladly step up and offer maintenance in
SVN.
Until then, I am of course flattered you want my plugin in SVN ;)
