Try with a completely new user - that'll ensure that all config data is out of
the way. Does the crash occur with any other protocols? You might also like to
post a description of the problem to the kde freebsd org mailing list to see if
the folks there can think of anything FreeBSD-specific that might cause the
crash for you.
