Phil B and me just did some logging with aMSN. The findings are not encouraging.

For starters, aMSN will not begin sending a file unless it receives the "200 
OK" message that trips the official client. So it's either proper transfer to 
MSN 7.5 or to aMSN. My vote goes to MSN 7.5... it's much more widely 
distributed.

If I send aMSN the "200 OK", it will begin sending, but will stop after a 
single packet. It must be waiting for something, but I can't figure out what. 
Data packets should not be acknowledged. I added an acknowledge just to make 
sure, but it makes no difference. No idea how to get the transfer going.

aMSN switched to MSFTP as its primary file transfer protocol a while ago and it 
might just be that their MSNSLP support has been bitrotting for a while. It 
doesn't seem to behave in a sensible way - or I'm too dense and somebody else 
will beed to figure it out ;).
