This is easy to implement if you're talking about the possibility to
connect to only one protocol (i.e. like the official clients on
windows). However, throw multiple accounts on multiple protocols into
and it becomes much more difficult.
Yes, difficulty does play a role in the decision about how fast something
gets implemented, and if it even gets implemented at all. Are you going to pay
me a decent salary, and give me decent benefits to hack on your favorite
features all day? If not, then respectfully, quit complaining. You've
done your part to help out the free software movement by requesting a
feature, and we thank you for it. Now, it's up to the developers of the
project to decide if, when, and how something gets fixed or implemented.
So, please, show a bit of respect and appreciation for those of us that
spend OUR FREE TIME on this project rather than making snide comments about
how KDE isn't a hacker desktop anymore and everything should be easy.
