These news sound alarming to me. My patch for encodings integrated into dev-0.12 branch contains also fixes for channel 2 messages handling, and I was consulting Miranda ICQ plugin source code to make channel 2 messages handling functionally equivalent to one in Miranda. Also, AFAIK, channel 1 messages are handled similar way as Miranda does. This makes me think that if Miranda lost ability to receive ICQ messages correctly and Kopete handles messages very similar way, this could mean that now Kopete mishandles some messages. Can anyone provide more detailed information about ICQ protocol changes which has so dramatic effects on Trillian and Miranda? -- Oleg Girko, http://www.infoserver.ru/~ol/ _______________________________________________ kopete-devel mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kopete-devel
