Hi Koha team I am a volunteer supporting Koha in a small library in New Zealand. I already sent this mail to this list, but I was asked first to join the list and resend this mail… what I do herewith, so please ignore my original mail.
While experiencing power outages, where the server and the desktop PCs lose the power, I had the idea to use the iPhone as an offline scanner. The iPhone still has power, it has it‘s own scanner (camera), it has it’s own torch, if needed, and its easy to use. Finally, itsalso easy to share the result and upload it into Koha. The result is my KohaOS app in the Apple app store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6467831983 I would appreciate, if you find some time to try it out, and to promote it on your official webpage.
