We have noticed that after last several batch loads, the auto increment
for the next batch number increases by a seemingly random number.
Here's the latest table from Tolls -> Staged MARC record management.

#7422 was the last regular increment + 1 batch number. The batch
numbers since have incremented by what appears a random amount.
We don't know what prompted this, but we would like to know whether or
not this is worrisome. If it is worrisome, we would like to recommend it be
fixed. In fact, we even submitted a bug, #30559.
