Once upon a time, BibLibre were working on adding PostgreSQL support, but I 
don't think that anyone is anymore. 

I imagine that it doesn't have enough value to make it onto anyone's agenda. 
That said, theoretically the use of DBIx::Class ORM should make it easier than 
in the past to try to add PostgreSQL support.

Is anyone working on porting the Koha database structure (and codebase) to 
Postgresql? (because of course everyone has unlimited time and energy)
