Bedford Public Library is looking for other libraries to assist in sponsoring a development to improve the functionality of macros in the Advanced Cataloging Editor. The macros would be stored in the database and not lost when clearing the browser cache. And they would be private by default- for use by the person who created it. But, they have the option to make that macro public which means all staff could see it. ByWater gave us a quote of $3,000 for the development. Are there other libraries out there that would be interested in helping to sponsor this development?
