And out of curiosity if you type 'top' and look at the process list, do you see 404.pl? Does the 404.pl not seem to go away? The other day, I was checking, and discovered that some bot was trying to DoS/Hack a client's OPAC. I blocked the IP address, and things returned to normal. I wasn't concerned about the IP address, as it was out of country for the library.
