The barcodes are in the following format 1003 1002 and it is a text file saved as .txt file. No spaces, apostrophes, inverted commas etc? Is your file a csv file? You say its a text file but if you saved it in Excel (.xslx), that could be your problem. Otherwise, please tell us what version of Koha you are using and how it was installed.
