Hello,
in marc21 the helper for the 008 field uses different labels depending
on the type of resource selected. But since the data from the leader is
in a different window, this helper is always set to "books" by default,
event if the leader says differently. Has someone made a javascript
before to go fetch the value from the 001 in the parent window and
change the dropdown accordingly? I haven't found anything like this in
the jquery library, and haven't been able to work it out myself so far.
Or is there some set up to be done elsewhere that i am not aware of?
