Chris & Paul, Thanks for the encouragement. We also look forward to hosting the community in the future.
Brooke, I wont be in able to make Reno again for some personal reasons. :-( But my Managing Consultant(CEO), Tunji and his lovely wife Bolanle (who incidentally is a professional librarian) will be there to represent Projektlink / Nigeria. I am sure they will be interested in talking with you and other members of this wonderful community. I think there may be 1 or 2 other Nigerians also in Reno. Yes, I still remember the Australia incidence, and met Bob and Irma last year in Edinburgh. Nice couple. I always share that story in my Koha training sessions as an example of how awesome the Koha community is! Hopefully, by God's grace, I should be in Cordoba 2014. (and Ibadan 2015??? ;-) ) Olugbenga Adara ----- Original Message ----- > From: Chris Cormack <ch...@bigballofwax.co.nz> > To: Koha Devel <koha-de...@lists.koha-community.org>; koha-user > <koha@lists.katipo.co.nz> > Cc: > Sent: Wednesday, October 9, 2013 4:34:31 PM > Subject: Re: [Koha] [Koha-devel] Kohacon 2014 in Córdoba, Argentina > > On 10 October 2013 09:28, Paul Poulain <paul.poul...@biblibre.com> wrote: >> Le 07/10/2013 12:48, Mirko a écrit : >>> Hi everybody, >> Hi, >> >>> I'd like to thank both Córdoba and Ibadan very much for offering to >>> be hosts for our conference! >> I'd like to encourage strongly Idaban to apply again next year: Africa >> is the only continent that did not host a KohaCon: >> * Europe = Paris 2006 and Edinburgh 2012 >> * Asia = Mumbai 2011 >> * Oceania = New Zealand 2010 >> * North-america = Plano,TX 2009 and Reno,NV 2013 >> * South-Africa = Cordoba, 2014 > > South America :) > >> So, let's come to Africa in 2015 > > And yes +1 from me!! > > Chris > > _______________________________________________ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha
