we have found out that the database (structure) is intact. However, the data (ibdata1) is corrupted. Do we have a way to repair it?
I have successfully recovered from failures as described (any previous corruption of *data* will not be fixed.) Lessons: you never have too many backups and innodb can be sensitive to insipid HD failure - consider a RAIDed setup.
