The version is relevant because they're using software which is
supported by only one company in the world: PTFS/Liblime. If they want
something done with their software in its current state, they only
have one choice: Talk to you guys.

It's perfectly valid to raise the question on this list, "Can Koha, in
one of it's current [free/open source] versions, support this
feature?" And of course it's appropriate to ask, "Could Koha be
modified to support this feature?" But the answers to this particular
person's questions would have to be framed in terms of "If you want to
switch support companies..."
